Hardware
If you are going to read reviews and buy a card please take note you have to verify the EXACTLY product or model number including extra characters or symbols. That means for example a card «XY ABC» will work but a revision named «XY ABC+» willl not work. That has to do with the fact the driver software depends on the bulit-in chip (e.g. Prism 2.5) that often differs in many models.
I have evaluated (Jan. 2005) the following WLAN Card which works perfectly, at least under RedHat FC3 and Windows XP:D-Link
